Stefany Charry Losada is a dancer, educator, and arts administrator. She began her training in Colombia with a strong foundation in ballet and contemporary dance and has since developed versatility in different styles such as jazz, hip hop, theater, latin styles, etc.
She started her career as an educator in Colombia, teaching students of various ages and choreographing for competitions, recitals, and live events. Continuing her teaching career in Miami, Florida, she joined Tiny Butterflies Academy, supporting student growth and performance development. Her classes combine technical discipline with creativity, fostering joy, exploration, and confidence in movement.
In the United States, she has continued her professional development at the Limón Institute and Broadway Dance Center, training with leading choreographers. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), specializing in performance enhancement, flexibility, and strength training.
Stefany currently serves as Program Manager and On-Site Director for Tiny Butterflies Academy in New York City, leading the program’s expansion and overseeing daily operations.

Our Team
Master Instructors are crucial to our mission for elite guidance. We hand-pick each instructor to ensure our mission remains true and children are fed the right amount of artistic nourishment needed to allow them to grow and flourish in our garden through the four primary stages; starting with the egg (stage 1), caterpillar (stage 2), chrysalis (stage 3) and ultimately butterfly.
Contemporary and Creative
Movement
STARTING FALL 2026! This contemporary and creative movement class introduces children to the joy of dance through dynamic movement, music, and exploration. Students learn foundational dance skills while practicing traveling steps, jumps, turns, and expressive movements that flow through space. The class builds coordination, rhythm, strength, and confidence while encouraging children to move creatively and connect movement with music. *Uniform required: Details will be sent to registered families.

Petite Ballet
STARTING FALL 2026! Our Petite Ballet class is the perfect first step into the magical world of dance! Young dancers build coordination, balance, and confidence while learning basic ballet movements through imaginative play and music. Each class encourages creativity, listening skills, and joyful self-expression in a warm, supportive environment. It’s a beautiful way for little ones to develop grace, discipline, and a lifelong love of dance. *Uniform required: Details will be sent to registered families.
Cardio Dance Fitness with
Pom-Poms
STARTING FALL 2026! The main focus of this energized class is to empower children through movement, music and repetitive motions. This is where dance fitness, cardio and building self confidence collide. Upper body, lower body and coordination infused. Floor mats for stretching and pom-poms will be provided by Tiny Butterflies Academy. *Uniform required: Details will be sent to registered families.

Hip Hop for Kidz
STARTING FALL 2026! This high-energy hip hop class introduces kids to fun, upbeat dance moves while building rhythm, coordination, and confidence. Dancers learn foundational hip hop steps, grooves, and combinations that get them moving to exciting music. The class focuses on musicality, style, and dynamic movement while encouraging kids to bring their own personality to the dance floor. *Uniform required: Details will be sent to registered families.
Flamenco with Latin Dance
Fusion
STARTING FALL 2026! This class blends the fundamentals of the classical art of Flamenco with some Latin Dance fusion. Students are introduced to bracero, tacon, palmas and some original feet work created by our Artistic Director. Adding the component of Latin Dance will only heighten the experience of this program. Use of castanets will vary on level and introduced in participating schools and developed stages of cycle. *Uniform required: Details will be sent to registered families.
