Class Descriptions

Cardio Dance Fitness with Pom-Poms (*new class) (Stages 1 through 4)
Main focus to empower children through movement, music and repetitive motions. This is where Dance fitness, cardio and building self confidence collide. Upper body, lower body and coordination infused. Floor mats for stretching and pom-poms will be
provided by Tiny Butterflies Academy.
*Uniform required: $50.00 (dry-fit academy shirt, skort or shorts, crew socks).

(Pediatric Physical Form required; Pediatric EKG screening recommended.)
 

Cheerleading Dance (Stages 1 through 4)

Fundamental cheerleading practice with components of dance. Students will learn basic cheerleading positions, stances and high energy routines under the supervision and guidance by a qualified cheerleading Coach. 
*Uniform required: $50.00 (dry-fit academy shirt, skort or shorts, crew socks).

(Pediatric Physical Form required; Pediatric EKG screening recommended.)

Musical Theater (Stages 1 through 4)

Main focus to empower and inspire children through a unique and original method of
inclusivity with regards to singing, dancing and acting. All students will be encouraged to
participate in games, exercises and movement to engage and perform the three components of this class.

Art with PaulaQ (Stages 1 through 4)
Through guided practice, students develop an understanding of color
theory, composition and more. Full description will be emailed to registered Parents.

Uniform Required: Tiny Butterflies Academy shirt over school
uniform. (included with supply fee) Color: Black - Stages (Egg, Caterpillar, Chrysalis, Butterfly)
 

Ballet (Stages 1 through 4)
Concentrating on the fundamental and developmental art of ballet through technique. Our students will learn the benefits of responsibility, discipline, dance,
music while transforming from student to ballerina.
Uniform required: $50.00 (leotard and skirt) Colors: Blue and Red - Stages (Egg, Caterpillar, Chrysalis, Butterfly)
 

Flamenco (Stages 1 through 4)
Main focus will be the technique of the classical art of Flamenco. Stage will vary depending on age: bracero, tacon y punta, palmas and original feet work by our Artistic Director. Use of castanets will vary on level and introduced in Spring term only.

Social Skills (Created and written by Alina Trueba)
Our exclusive Social Skills program written and created by Alina Trueba over two decades ago continues to be a highly sought after workshop throughout South Florida. Customizable curriculum tailored to age groups and grade level. Popular for graduating classes in middle and upper schools and even professional corporate events. *Please note: Cardio Fitness, Cheerleading, ballet, flamenco and musical theater will all have an additional costume fee (performance) depending on the end of year recital at your participating school.  Pricing will be provided in the Spring.
